bridge parish council

Quote:

Please note that Bridge Parish Council insist that all spectators must be on the far side of the pitch (furthest from the apartments)

now we're unofficial,
three things.
who cares what they insist, who's going to be policing it and also do they insist the players call each others names a bit quieter.

so i shall see you at the next home game i'll be the one in front of the apartments just after parking the car in riverside close!

The bit I don't believe is where you say you'll see us at the next home game!

Raffle ticket anyone?

The Parish Council 'insists' !!!

I thought this was a public park?

Is this insistance just for us football fans or everyone who uses the park?

What is the reason for this? Why bother now, we'll be going soon (we hope)!!

Come on, is this a joke? Far side of the pitch! Furthest from the apartments! This side of the A2 or do we have to cross the road?
corpse

yes, all very amusing from the Parish Council crew!

Maybe we could ask for the pitch to be coned off down the middle and the match be played only on the A2 side of the pitch!

Anyway, hope to see a big crowd there on Saturday.

people with too much time on their hands insisting we watch football from the far side of the pitch. I bet there meetings are like the vicar of dibley

nonononononono yes

I hope that this weekend goes off incident free for the parish, let's keep them onside for the season; it's not worth the hassle upsetting them!

have you seen the weather forecast, I shall be standing on the tarmac in front of the chalets (apartments) so I can keep my new shoes nice and clean.
what does it matter where you stand. Firstly people living there will still hear you and secondly the football pitches have been there longer than the houses, did the residents not notice when they bought their houses.

I insist on standing where I like when I like in a public park or on a public right of way.
whatever next only blonde hair and blue eyed people to watch and then the bridge parish council will occupy neighbouring patrixbourne.
corpse

Hey Ghost, if you are really nice you might be allowed to watch from one of the chalets!

Personally I'd choose to wear my old ones and then it won't matter what the forecast is and I won't spoil them.

MD, i've known you over 20 years and i've never seen you in new clothes.
md093834

Why on earth would I want to wear anything new to meet up with you?
