Baker 6. Yet to see the sam of last season, although made good runs down the wing
Salter 6. Drifts from position
Lockhart 7. Solid, another goal.
Jackson 9. Fantastic start to the season, battles for everything.
Smith 6. Worked hard, a few long range efforts.
Mcgeehan 7. Passed ball better then last week
Maxted 6. Good to have him back and showed glimpses of his class
Gower 8. Good pace and dribbling, great goal at the end
Read 8. Adds something different upfront, holds ball up well and is unselfish in front of goal.
Lawford 8. Nice goals and brought width to citys play

Gutsell 6. Not a lot of time to see either of

Read (7) Good target man, lacked pace, not out and out striker, drifted to right too much.
Lawford ( 2 good goals, 2nd linked well with Read, drifted into centre
too much.

Smissen (6) Ok
Seagers (6) Abit eager.
Beckett (1) Least he was there.
Not sure about Dave's subs, put on a new left back, move your left back to right back, move your right back to right midfield?

Interesting ratings.
Come on Nobster, bit harsh on G. Beckett. He did everything that was required of him and it is hardly his fault that there was little physio activity (he was probably pleased with the rest after the Betteshanger game).
Read might not be the quickest but he does a good job up top; he plays well with his back to goal, holds the ball cleverly, and brings other players into the game. He is also powerful in the air.
