Can't disgaree with that. We did the same at Larkfield last year where somehow we got away with a 1-0 victory. I thought we were going to do the same today.
Shame when the highlight of the day has to be the pint in the Five Pointed Star before the game!!!!
Happy Christmas everyone and see you next year.

MD wheres that site we were talking about when you forced me to go to the many pointed star ? which I must add thought was a place of deep religious meaning at this time of year...well until I realised where I had been led and then to make it worse I was forced to drink Guinness

Just for the record md.......
What were you signalling, when Staplehurst claimed the ball was over the line. It looked like you were either flagging down Santa and his sleigh or semaphoring the directions to his grotto...........

I hope I've done this right. If my computer competency has grown even more, this link should take you to the Staplehurst highlights. However, the all important penalty incident came up as a dodgy file on my camera, so it didn't play. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nUMPymmEvrc

I think it was something of a Gallic shrug suggesting that for once the break was too quick for me and I couldn't tell whether the ball was over or not. To be honest I thought Danny had stopped it at first and that the ball was dropping to one of their two forwards who would have been offside. Having realised that wasn't the case it was too late and I was left struggling to catch up. In the end the ref gave the goal and there weren't too many arguments from City players. I thought I was Man of the Match!
