The Final(s) Countdown?It's almost upon us. The start of a great run of cup ties that sees City's two senior sides in search of places in the Finals of four competitions.
First, this Sunday the 15th, the City of Canterbury gets the rare chance to see a decent Charlton side (I've fed you the line so take it!) when the Ladies host the Kent County Cup semi. A really tough task this but who knows... last year on a wet day they nearly got the better of Millwall in front of over 100.
Next up on Saturday 21st City's men face the tough task of gaining revenge over Hollands and Blair in the Quarter Finals of the Kent Intermediate Challenge Shield.
A week later it's semi final time again as Otford or Oakwood are at Bridge in the Les Leckie Cup. Hopefully Oakwood will be looking to put a heavy defeat on the 14th behind them!
Then finally it's League Cup quarter final time for the Ladies as they host London Corinthians.
Wow what a testing few weeks this will be for the players and supporters alike. Best luck to these two teams and, for that matter, all of the clubs sides.
Mind you it would be nice to play the occasional league game!!!!!!!!!!!!
