Did anyone make the game saturday? As its oh so quiet on the forum.
If anybody did then what were their thoughts on the game, are we beginning to gel? Any notable performances? I could not make the game saturday so responses are extremely welcome!

I'll be there with the camera. I'm beaming it LIVE to Asia, Arabia and the US, but it won't be available to British viewers until monday night. That's if I catch anything worth watching of course! After the corresponding game last year, I'll just be pleased if the OB don't need to view the film or send it on to the CPS for their consideration.

Woodstock, the unofficial reportGreat start to the game saw City quickly 3-0 in front, Woodstock just weren't in it for the first 25 minutes, too busy hassling their own linesman over offsides that never were, and not busy enough defending properly. To their credit though, they got back to 3-1 before half time and started looking as if they might mean business. During this period a lot of loose balls and second balls seemed to be going to Woodstock players unchallenged, and falling into areas, where they had a bit of space. We appeared to be lacking the strength and cover of any of Dave Read in midfield or James Brooke, Ben Smith or Rob Gutsell.
At half time, it was generally thought that we would need at least another goal to see them off. Chances were exchanged at both ends, before as Woodstock were visibly tiring, City's superior fitness and skill saw them surge away towards the end scoring a further three goals and frankly could have at least two or three more in the latter part of the game. Great to see Dan Bonnywell bagging a hat-trick, and another goal from Callum McGeehan - a relative tap-in by his own recent long range standards.
A much better return to Woodstock following last season's dank, grey and cold day, on which City just did not turn up, I think Woodstock knew that we turned up today!

Never mind worrying about a warm up after what I have just read in the Gazette we ought to be parying for a big freeze starting in early December. Seems as though Wayne and Harry were sent off for their Sunday side last weekend and presumably we facing losing them to suspension in the near future.
So that's Luke, from this weekend, presumably Ben Smith for accumulating bookings shortly and then I guess from early December W and H.
Still they say that every cloud has a silver lining....I just can't find it at present!
